The Legacy Virtual Academy is a private, online K-12 educational institution that equips, enhances, and enriches the lives of its students to help them become transformative leaders of excellence.
The Legacy Virtual Academy values and instills value in high-quality living and scholarship.
We recognize our student population as independent learners with life paths significantly different than that of their peers.
We understand our students have unique personal and/or familial circumstances, and may therefore require an alternative approach to learning to best provide them with the most relevant and appropriate academic instruction.
We challenge antiquated approaches to student instruction. Students don’t need to be in a classroom 5-days a week, 8hrs a day to receive quality learning; and students also don’t need months-long breaks between that results in learning loss. There are better pathways to educational success and lifelong achievement that we at The Legacy Virtual Academy can provide.

Year-Round Learning: No months-long breaks! We maintain consistent engagement with students by implementing strategic breaks throughout the year to prevent massive learning loss and encourage continuous growth.
‘Bare-Bones’ Education: We focus solely on teaching the primary academic disciplines to build a solid foundation in core subjects without the fluff. Elective hours are logged with waivers signed by students’ parents/guardians.
5-Hour In-Class Commitment: Just 5 hours of live virtual classes per week, allowing for independent learning and an open, balanced schedule.
Additional Asynchronous, Project-Based, and Independent Learning: Our flexible scheduling options allow students to learn at their own pace and on their own time, empowering student independence.
